the Old Man Winter Rally is a huge party and everybody is invited.
Friends and family are welcome at Bohn Park in Lyons. There will be bonfires, food vendors, and live music.
Run Course:
Park at the Picture Rock trail head on Red Gulch , so you can see your favorite runner coming and going on the course. You’ll have access to a bathroom and be a great spot for cheering!
50km Bike Course:
If you can drive or ride out to a section on the course, Crane Hollow Rd, in between Hygiene Rd and St Vrain, offers great views of rolling gravel roads.
Ouray Dr, between Nelson and Oxford has some great views.
100km Bike Course:
If you want to get a great ride in and see the crux of the course, rider up CO Rd 83 and watch your rider take on the Rowena trail ! There is NO PARKING in this area, so you’ll need to ride there.
The final climb on the course is Old Stage Rd. At the intersection of Red Hill Rd . there is a spot to park and cheer your rider on as they crest the last major effort.
