Resident notification for
February 1st, 2026
Dear Neighbor,
This letter is to inform you that the Old Man Winter Rally will be passing through your neighborhood on February 1, 2026.
The event starts and finishes at Bohn Park in Lyons, and riders will choose a 23 mile, 40 mile, or 75 mile ride. The courses take them east of North Foothills Highway (US 36), around Boulder Reservoir, and back to Lyons. Those on the 75 mile course will go west into the canyons west of Boulder. There will also be a 10km and 5K running race starting and finishing at the same location and passing through Downtown Lyons to Old St. Vrain Road where it returns the same way it came.
All required applications have been filed and a permit has been issued for this event. This is a medium size event and we anticipate 1000 cyclists will participate. NO ROADS WILL BE CLOSED. Riders are to follow the rules of the road. Please be aware and use caution around cyclists. We have worked hard to make sure you are inconvenienced as little as possible by the event.
