Cancellation policy.
We want to make sure you feel safe registering and are implementing a plan for refunds should weather or COVID-19 prevent us from producing the event. The Old Man Winter Rally will be one of the first events on the Front Range of CO in 2022 and registration will be limited, so we understand why you’d want to feel safe securing your spot. To protect your health and money in case of cancellation, here’s what we are doing:
We will implement required safety protocols to keep the event clean and safe. These protocols will include touchless check-in, plenty of hand sanitizer, and single serving food/drinks. Our plan will be approved by Boulder County and adhere to CDC guidelines.
We have event cancellation insurance in case of weather. If the event has to be cancelled AHEAD of the event, we will offer refunds to all registrants.
If there is a sudden storm DURING the event, we will modify the course so that the show will go on. We are working with Boulder County on approved courses.
We provide you the option to purchase a very reasonable and comprehensive insurance policy when you register called FanShield. This will cover your entry fee if you can’t attend due to sickness, travel, family, or accident. Here are the full details on FanShield coverage.
If the event has to be cancelled due to group gathering restrictions or other COVID-19 issues, we will provide a sliding scale refund. As the event gets closer, we have to pay more and more expenses, so we will do everything we can to offset the cost of your race entry.
45+ days out 75% refund (minus transaction fee)
30-44 days out 50% refund (minus transaction fee)
15-29 days out 35% refund (minus transaction fee)
14 days or less: 25% refund (minus transaction fee)
4. If the number of participants has to be reduced, we will honor the entries in order of registration. Others will be refunded or deferred
