Where to watch…

There are plenty of great spots to watch the riders and runners take on this epic winter adventure. Here are our recommended spots:

Run Course:

  • Park at the Picture Rock trail head on Red Gulch, so you can see your favorite runner coming and going on the course. You’ll have access to a bathroom and be a great spot for cheering!
  • Cheer your runner on at the finish line which is between 4th and 5th st on Railroad Ave.
  • The after party is open to all and Sufferfest beer and Cyclhops green chili will be for sale.

50km Bike Course:

  • If you can drive or ride out to a section on the course, Crane Hollow Rd, inbetween Hygiene Rd and St Vrain, offers great views of rolling gravel roads.
  • Ouray Dr, between Nelson and Oxford has some great views.
  • Cheer your rider on at the finish line which is between 4th and 5th st on Railroad Ave.
  • The after party is open to all and Sufferfest beer and Cyclhops green chili will be for sale.

100km Bike Course:

  • If you want to get a great ride in and see the crux of the course, rider up CO Rd 83 and watch your rider take on the Rowena trail! There is NO PARKING in this area, so you’ll need to ride there.
  • The final climb on the course is Old Stage Rd. At the intersection of Red Hill Rd. there is a spot to park and cheer your rider on as they crest the last major effort.
