NOW it’s starting to look like Winter! Don’t forget - only two more days to sign up at the best price! #oldmanwinterrally ... See MoreSee Less

We switched up the 100km bike course for 2018, adding gravel roads heading up to Carter Lake and taking out the hike a bike section. This will make it a perfect course for a cyclocross bike, or even a road bike if the roads are dry. Check it out here: oldmanwinterrally.com/ride/ ... See MoreSee Less

About OMW

The Old Man Winter Bike Rally was created to be THE winter adventure event. With two bike courses and a one-of-a-kind running course, there is plenty of winter adventure for all runners and cyclists.

It is the one and only winter cycling festival that brings Boulder’s best riding to cyclists of all levels. From quiet country roads to scenic mountain lakes, we’ve got the distance and the terrain you’re after.

  • Choose the 50km option for a scenic spin along the paved and gravel farm roads on the east side of the Foothills Highway.
  • Choose the (roughly) 100k course to tackle some extra miles over beautiful rolling gravel roads North to the famed Carter Lake before returning back to Lyons.

  • The 5.4-mile run take you out and back in a Red Rock canyon that incorporates sections of the ever-popular Picture Rock Trail and “Lyons Fruit Loops”. It’s truly a “Best of Lyons’ course with big views, minimal elevation gain, and mixed terrain.

Our Cause

Our event benefits Can’d Aid and funds will go towards rebuilding your favorite flood-damaged hiking and biking trails.

Training Clinics

We have two cycling and one running clinic designed to help you ROCK the Old Man Winter Rally. At each one, we’ll get in some training, then get expert tips back at one of our sponsor’s stores while we drink free Oskar Blues beer and eat CLIF bars! Stay tuned for the schedule…
